Some H.E. for Konflikt 47' and Bolt Action

I'm a bad person.  I was recently looking in my picture archive on my desktop and I realized I've taken a ton of photos of models I've painted, but never actually posted anything.  Then I let you guys sit all summer thinking I'm dead or quit the hobby and yeah.

Today, I'm going to start to rectify it.  I painted these two models almost a year ago.  Up first is my Spinemech for Konflikt 47'.

The Spinemech model was actually my prize from Operation Sting last year.  I think I ended up putting it together and painting it the night I won it.  It's pretty easy to paint and a lot of fun to throw on the battlefield.

Next, it's going to be cross between Konflikt 47' and Bolt Action.  It's the Panzer IV with an augmented weapon to make it a Panzer X.  Take a look...

And what is pretty cool with this model, you pop off the gravity gun on the top and put on the original gun and it becomes a Panzer IV.

I'll admit it, I had a ton of trouble painting the Panzer X/IV model.  I was experimenting with some colors as I wanted the green to be a bit more vibrant than I usually do on BA vehicles and I just couldn't get the color palette I was looking for.  I ended up probably putting 10 different types of base colors on this model.  I'm surprised any of the detail actually showed up honestly.  I think all-in-all it turned out pretty good.

Like I said previously, I'm going to start posting more photos of my back-log..... try to beef this blog up a little for this year.
